Members of the fish ecology lab
Dr. Todd Anderson heads the San Diego State University Fish Ecology Lab. Dr. Anderson's interests include the population ecology and assemblage structure of coastal fishes in rocky reef, coral reef, and seagrass bed ecosystems. He has focused on the processes that influence recruitment (input of young) success, interactions between structural habitat complexity and predator-induced mortality, links between individual condition and performance on population demography, and direct and indirect trophic interactions. His current and former graduate students have developed a number of projects, emphasizing processes that influence individual behavior, population demography, and assemblage structure.
